The Brisbane Lions Football Club is thrilled to welcome Ryan Davis as the club's new AFLW Assistant Coach. Davis brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, having previously held coaching positions at the Western Bulldogs and Collingwood. Davis will work closely with AFLW Senior Coach Craig Starcevich and the rest of the coaching staff to develop and implement game plans and provide guidance to the players. He will also be responsible for the team's defensive structures and will play an important role in the Lions' pursuit of their first AFLW premiership. In addition to Davis' appointment, the Lions have also re-signed exciting utility Shadeau Brain on a new two-year deal. Brain has been a valuable member of the Lions since joining the club in 2022 and has shown great versatility, playing in a variety of roles across the field. The Lions are confident that these latest additions to the coaching staff and playing roster will help the team achieve its goal of winning an AFLW championship.
